Thanks a lot! Will try to get some blueberries. Have tried last year but was too late, so will hurry up next week to get it.

Would have missed it probably if you wouldn't have said it.

Got a cherry Stella last year, is doing okay though still quite small. Never really found out if these are supposed to be minitrees or not?

Thanks SueA for letting us know. About time it came round to our northern parts of the country.

I will definitely check my local Lidl out although I've already ordered quite a few fruit bushes/trees online. They're incredibly cheap, 99p for blueberry...I paid £4 from Wilko earlier this year but the thing to remember is that you don't know what variety you're getting so I still had to order Blueberry Patriot as a specific bush that I wanted.

... there's always eBay. I got some blackcurrant bushes off eBay, delivered to my door. Garlic and onions too. Cool

Anybody going to their local Lidl for fruit bushes tomorrow? Bad experience tells me they won't have it here in the Midlands AGAIN

I'm East Mids and am going to have a look, as I need to go to the nearby B&Q anyway. There's nothing about fruit trees on the Lidl site when I put in my postcode though, so I'm not holding my breath!

Does anyone telephone before they make the journey?
It really irritates me to travel 8 miles thru traffic for a wasted trip. Grrrr!

These loosers don't have it in my store! They had it last year, but not this year. Or do they miss out Scotland tomorrow?
I'll phone them on Monday and swear at them in German. I'll be really enjoying it.

I always go late the day before- otherwise there will be a fight for the blueberry bushes.
