Am a bit scared of using mine for anything so far so have only put it down the drain - use my worm juice around the garden and that seems to work well. Would be interested to see how you get on if you try it though.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Yes! It makes an excellent plant food, but it's strong stuff, needs to be watered down 1 part to 100 parts water. But even if it goes down the drain it's of benefit to the waterways so however you use it, it's a bit of a bonus!Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

Do you get any mould on yours? If so what colour is it? This should be a good indication of what's going on. I'm wondering if you are squashing it well down to get rid of any pockets of air and if you are putting in enough bran?Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

THe mould sounds ok, you only need to worry if its green/blue.
Maybe yours is just in the tub longer than mine, fermenting more? Mine usually takes 3-5 weeks to fill then sits outside for another 3-5 weeks while i fill the other one then i empty it into my compost bin. I'm constantly amazed at how quickly it breaks down.Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.
