In all this hot weather it's importnt you take a rest & take on fluids. With this in mind I bought 2 plastic chairs yesterday from ASDA £3-50 each, I thought that was good vale for money. I've posted a piccy in the showcase.

Now would that refreshment come in a brown bottle by any chance?

Nope, I forgoe'd the cup of tea today in favour of 2 litres of water!

      Boring or what!

Can't say I blame you! I have drunk enough water to sink the Titanic and still don't seem to have enough! Well that is a bit of an exageration, but you know what I mean!

Still really hot here again today, so watered early and did what was necessary and then got into the cool until the heat went out of the day! Best thing to do in this weather! Oh and drink lots of course!

I got some garden chairs (good quality green ones) from my local dump, or recycling ventre as some prefer to call it, for £1.50 each. My cousin told me I was ripped off as she had only been charged 50p each! I must have gone down there looking affluent.

The dump can be a good source of materials. They have lots of timber and slabs there too.

I'm getting organised at the lottie. Next buy has to be a camping stove so that I can make a cuppa when I'm up there. I'm told to try e-bay but have never used it yet.

          Happy gardening everyone.

You must have a stove & kettle Dinah, it's the law

I bought one from a local camping shop that was on special offer for around a £10 I think it was. The gas cartridges last quite well too. The only trouble is in the winter when it's cold, the gas doesn't flow so well then, so I use the back up - MY sons Trangia stove, runs on meths & the kettle just fits in to the sheild part
