I've dug all my veggies in with horse manure, can you put too much horse manure on your patch? I was thinking of laying it over the ground as a sort of feed/mulch around my brussells and sweetcorn?
If it's well rotted and you have plenty of it, I don't think you can use too much!
The mulching sounds a good idea and will save watering and weeding.
There isn't a massive amount of nutrients in it, so it won't 'overfeed' the crops but the improvement to the soil structure will be noticeable next year.
