Is the Tesco Extra gardening stuff on sale yet? If not what time of year do the reductions start? I left it too late last year and the gardening stuff was substituted with back to school On previous years I got gardening stuff at quarter price.

Haha, I was kicking myself last year for not diarising the 75% off purchases. IIRC J Sainsbury reduced to 50% and Tesco to 75% off.

I've marked it up as an annual to-do in Google calendar.

Must say, I'm really disappointed by the major 3 suppliers bank holiday offers this time. Last bank holiday had much better offers, and this time last year Sutton s had the James Wong collections for 99p. Nothing as good on any of those sites this year. Before I get flamed, just an observation

Morrisons had small bags of coffee grounds for free in café, was near till on non queuing side in ours, not seen this there before.

50 litre bags of Westland MPC with added John Innes reduced to £2.50 clearance at B&Q. They had plenty left at Hull St Andrew's Quay even after I bought 10 bags I went for the 125 litre bags of verve but these were cheaper and easier to handle.
