I have had an email from Suttons saying they can't full fill my order due to a systems error. Just going to see how long the refund takes to get to my account.

I've red that Wyevale's 50p seed sale has now started and should run till 17th October. Don't think the one in Barnstaple did it last year... so I'm not sure if I'll be making a special trip this time round...sigpic

My local B&M clearing out some of their gardeing stuff - picked up a plastic watering can for 10p, 500g of quick lawn seed for £1 - they were getting rid of slug pellets (blue min) for 20p - same for antkiller. Some liquid feeds etc on offer too.sigpic

I went to 2 B&Ms yesterday - both had been cleared of gardening stuff the day before.
One assistant told me that "All the bags of 'earth' had been sold for 10p, and a man bought the lot".
At that price, I'd had bought all the "earth" too!
Guess the shelves will soon be filled with festive carp.

oh and I think Wilko are dong half price on a lot of their gardening tools - e.g. basic range spade/fork for £2.50 - I may make a special trip tomorrow and tour B&M Wilko and Wyevale and aim to get home before 10.00 before the happy holidaymakers get out of their caravanssigpic

I did all that yesterday - B&M > Wyevale > another B&M > Wilkos. Bought very little anywhere
Wilko's had the solid seed trays marked 50p but they came up at 25p - so I bought 6
They had boxed tool sets reduced to £2 (spade, fork & handtools). Perfect as a spare set.
Small Hexagonal blowaways down from £20 to £5 but they looked a bit awkward to use for seed trays. OK for £5 though.
Did buy a pop-up netting tunnel cloche thingy for £2,50 which wasn't marked as reduced but I'm sure it was more previously. When I'm feeling brave I'm going to open the bag and watch it spring openLast edited by veggiechicken; 25-08-2017, 04:02 PM.
