Wilko's - according to hotukdeals the Loughborough store is selling off their blowaways for £5 - might be worth checking you local store as I picked up one for £5 about this time last year - there was also a lot of other gardening related stuff reduced. Might be one store only though - so I wouldn't make a special trip...

My local Aldi had some soft fruit and grapevines in pots going fairly cheap - I picked up an Autumn fruiting raspberry.

Has anyone actually received their medlar yet?
I haven't and it wasn't showing up on my Suttons account - so I emailed them. Their reply:-


I have checked your details and it appears the Medlar had become sold out as your order was being transferred over from our website. This is why it does not show in your order history. This should have been brought to our attention before now to refund you so I do apologise.I will request the £5 if refunded to your card.

That's a shame about the medlar but you can order something else now I thought a medlar was someone that meddles in your business,I wouldn't want one
I had a bargain the other day at wyvale,I got 250 meteor peas & 50 broad beans the Sutton in the half price sale,so they came to £2.82 & I had £7 garden club vouchers so they were free (I also got some fat balls & seed mix for the birds )
