There may be online offers, Dave, most garden centres will have new stock by January.

generally speaking because some seeds have a short life span, the previous season's seeds get sold off before the end of the year.

Probably best to concentrate on what specific seeds you would like to get, as the devil is in the detail. Maybe posting your own new thread on what people suggest for say runner bean seeds or whatever, would be a good start ?
