  • Quick... T&M Fruit bundles £17.94 delivered instead of £56.95.

Taken from money saving expert Facebook post

    2 Current Deals
    23 berry plants for £18 all-in (norm £57ish)
    23 berry plants for £18 all-in (norm £57ish)*
Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry etc. Plus veg seeds
    4,000 avail
If you go via this MSE Blagged Thompson & Morgan* link you can get a bundle of 23 berry plants plus some vegetable seeds for £17.94 delivered (normally £56.95). You'll also get 200g of Incredicrop fertiliser. The discount code TM_TAF283W should be added automatically to your order, but if not you can add it yourself to the 'promotion order code' box.
The offer ends at 11.59pm on Sun 3 Feb, or when 4,000 plant bundles have gone, whichever's sooner – so go quick if it’s something you want.

    The bundle includes:

    12 Strawberry bare root runners
    Six Raspberry bare root canes
    Three Gooseberry bare root bushes
    Two Blueberry potted bushes
£10ish worth of vegetable seeds, in at least 3 different varieties
    200g Incredicrop fertiliser

Important: You won’t receive your plants immediately, due to the forecast freezing conditions. T&M says it will send them when conditions are perfect for planting – but no longer than two to three weeks.

The plants will arrive either bare-root (strawberry, raspberry, gooseberry) or potted (blueberry) depending on variety and Thompson & Morgan says they'll need planting up in pots in a greenhouse, on a windowsill or in a warm conservatory over winter. It says they should flower from summer, depending on variety.

The offer is limited to one per transaction so if you want more than one bundle, you'll have to place two orders.

    When will they be delivered?

Thompson & Morgan says the bundles will be dispatched within three weeks of ordering, but this may be delayed due to inclement weather. The plants will arrive labelled so you'll know which varieties you've got.

                  https://www.gardenbargains.com/item-...source=GBEM656

I bought these last year (2 lots) and they were healthy bare rooted trees. All have survived to this year (just checked) and I'm tempted to buy some more!!
Not your usual varieties either - especially the apricot and nectarine.

P&P is about £6.99 i think - which is why I bought 2 lots last year (that's my excuse anyway).

                    • They were bigger than a stick! Think they all had side branches. None of them fruited last year - but I wouldn't have let them anyway.
I thought I'd posted some photos but haven't found them yet!

                          • Although generally an optimist, I think it would be too much to hope for apricots and nectarines to remain alive, never mind fruit here in Edinburgh. Sigh
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

                              • Has anyone spotted the bare root fruit trees in the supermarkets, LIDL, Aldi, Wilko's etc yet? I'm looking to get a few apple trees for my extra allotment plot. I'd appreciate a heads-up if anyone sees them!
