  • I saw some bare root trees, tall ones, in a poundshop type offshot brand shop last week. They looked very healthy indeed! Cheap too!

I think they are quite expensive to what they usually are VC

I paid the same amount for potted fruit trees on a dwarfing rootstock for patio growing.

          • Probably because they come with a "stake, tree tie and compost".

              I’ve seen them in Tesc@s.

                • They had some in B + M for 4.99 I think. They looked ok as well, I would have bought one, I even got as close as touching one before I remembered I ordered the t and m fruit offer and will have absolutely no room for another tree.

                              Hello everyone,

I've been lurking a while but today is my first post!

I too ordered this offer and it arrived a few days ago.

Just a warning - of the 6 packets of seeds that arrived, 4 were past their "sow by" date.

The fruit plants were all in good nick so still a good deal I think. I've called t&m and they're going to send out fresh seeds.

                              Andrew.

                              • Hi Andrew and welcome aboard! You must have been unlucky with the seeds - mine were OK. I'm sure yours will still germinate so don't chuck them away.
