Not really collecting but more storing the water collected off my shed into the butt.

Over winter I get more water than the butt can hold, so we fill the used 4 pint milk containers and I store them in the greenhouse over winter.

During the growing season, they are placed out around the plot in "watering stations" for OH to do watering during the week while I'm at work.

She finds it a lot easier as she doesn't have to fill and lug watering cans around the plot and I just refill them each weekend for her.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.
