Was looking at getting a new tool and wonder if a garden tiller would do the job. Have pretty compacted soil in front garden and the usual weeds. I want to break up the soil around the plants and get rid of some weeds too. Have been using a fork or hoe but not working a for me. Does anyone have such a thing ?

Invest the money on compost and use free cardboard to get rid of the weeds. -

If you need a tiller my recommended one would be the Mantis, it is amazing, punches well above it's weight. I only bought it as due to health reasons I couldn't use the one I had before ( a Honda) very good but heavier.

Wolf make a nice one that clips onto their systems handle, I have several tools that fit the same handle and last a long time.Comment
