Julian graves coriander seeds

Hi all ,
my first post on this site but i have been an avid reader since i started growing my own veg for the first time this year. NO allotment yet (names on the list!!) just lots and lots of pots!
Any way i love corainder and find the seeds quite expensive for the amount i like to grow, so have planted some " JULIAN GRAVES CORIANDER SEEDS " , sold in there shops for cooking but they have all grown.
Great value there are thousands of seeds in a pack for less than £2.

Hi andytomato, welcome to the vine!
I've grown corriander from supermarket seeds too (even better are Asian supermarkets which sell in serious bulk!). You have to sow little and often with these as they are bred for production of seeds rather than leaves so tend to run to seed quickly.
Where are you in Essex? Hastingwood has lotties up for grabs (where the A414 meets to M11)

Hi vicky ,
thats weird im in Harlow so not far from me ( raining cats and dogs at the mo , thats good my grass is yellow ! ) I have my name down for Canons Brook i can walk there with my wheelbarrow hopefullyone day.
I cant wait , so far this year i have grown ; broad beans , peas runner beans , beetroot , carrots , onions , Hanging basket toms ,cucumbers ,potatos and various herbs ( i got abit carried away with it all ) , with varies degrees of sucsess.
Things like broad beans i have discovered you really nead an allotment for , i had two tubs full and only got one diner for two from them!

I have always planted corriander from tesco bought seeds 80p for huge bag that goes on forever and always get lots of fresh corriander. I used these seeds in mums garden 5 years ago and the corriander comes back every year.

Welcome to the vine....Greaves sell a lot of cheap seeds but dont advertise them.

I didnt know coriander came back next year , i will have to try putting some in the garden next time , thanks.

Yes seems to come back every year I love the stuff my favourite herb

do you know about bay , i have a small bay in a pot about 20cm high . Am i best to take all the leaves off and freeze them or will it over winter ?
