  • compost..

I got some 60l bags of compost from b&q the other day for £2.98 each, reduced from £5.98.

I'm not sure of the brand, but it was in a deep pink bag Seems quite good.

Not sure if that is much of a bargin or not.... they had a massive stack of them in hedge end, southampton, I would imagine it is nation wide

I have normally found that price per litre it has been cheaper for me to get my multi purpose compost from Wickes but then again if there was only pennies in it, then I would go for B&Q as it's a shorter distance to drive. (got to watch my carbon footprint diet)
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

£8.94 for 180 is 745p per litre you can nomally get 3 75l bags for a £10 so thats 4.44p per ltr.

You're probably better off. I've had a rubbish crop this year of most things i've grown in compost and I'm convinced it's because I went for the cheap Wickes compost.
It was OK last year, but this year's stuff just doesn't seem so good. Next year I shall pay a few more pennies and hope for better results.
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.
