As promised

The base is cut off and handle cut as shown

Some bits of bamboo, or anything else handy, are pushed up the handle to provide support. They are just jammed in.They are normally pushed in flush they are just left out for the photo If you don't do this the handle will collapse with weight when hung on the side of your raised beds,or whatever you care to hang them from

thanks Pies and you've given me a great idea to get EVEN more strawberries in around the garden.........though the fence i plan to put them along makes me think i'll just be seeing a load of birds on it eating the berries!!!!

On a trip to the local tip I came home with the cylinderical drums from 2 tumble driers. I am going to use these to grow carrots in...drainage holes in the bottom and they won't rust either.
