KB the mini greenhouse thingies are little trays with there own "cloche". The plastic growhouses will be in later in the year but they clear out very quickly. Sign up to the newsletter to find out when they will be in. The site can give you your nearest shop too.

BTW - I don't have shares in Lidl, nor do I work there.

Hi guys
have taken your advise and signed up to the LIDL newsletter. Took me a while to persuade the website to send me the French version!
We use Lidl here all the time, its our Waitrose, now we are living in France!!
Any more top tips?

Lidl Plastic Greenhouses - beware! I got one last year and it lasted, oh, several weeks before the plastic cover ripped. The whole thing has now been completely destroyed by the wind, ripped and twisted in half and back over itself - quite a feat. All my overwintering plants were dashed to the ground and smashed up. Boo.

Oh, I'd just like to point out its not just Lidl greenhouses...we've bought several from different retailers, and they all end up ripped at the first puff of wind. Also, the sun does something queer to the plastic shelving...after a season it all goes brittle and snaps into pieces, usually when fully laden with seedlings.

I came back from Lidls yesterday with a Sago palm and a lovely healthy African Violet, they had an excellent selection of colours. Was surprised to see the palm there, but I got it cos my cat usually destroys houseplants for fun, but she may think twice about a spiky Sago...!
