Strange coincidence-I have to go to the city on Thursday.I must admit I wait for the seed racks at Morrisons-they are a bit more expensive than Lidl but very good
Its the ammount of seeds in a pack. More seed 49p, less seeds 29p.
I'll reserve judgement till thurs. If I recall, last year it was the size of the seed & not the quantity but I am a year older & dementia may have set in.....

Last year it was the pack sizes that made the difference in cost and not the seed size.
Ok, I admit it , Dementia has set in. It is the size of the pkt that determines the price. They are still excellent value for money. No1 pkts were 29p & No3 pkts were 49p.

I may have dropped a booboo........Gourds, are they not edible. Am getting mixed opinions from the S****h facility.

As far as I am aware, gourds are decorative and not edible

Some gourds are edible and in some parts of the world they are quite an important source of sustenance. I must say that any that I have tasted haven't got the greatest of flavours. Here is a link: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew: Education
