today i picked up some cylindra beetroot seeds in wilkinsons for 28p,and all other veg seeds seem to be 3 for 1.50.tried some last year and dont see any reason to pay more

At the end of last year they were selling off the seeds for just 10p a pack in our local wilkinsons and their sow before date was 2011. I got all mine then needless to say.

our local wilkinsons only opened up where woolworths was,my daughter got mine from her local store and sent them up,picked up some plastic (wellie type)slippers the other day,great for going into the chooks pen,just hose them down when dirty @£6 odd,im getting to like having a wilkinsons up here.

The cheaper seeds are absolutely fine, IMO.

I've bought lots of the 3 for £1.50 seeds from Wilko. The same varieties are £2+ online, more when you add the P&P.

I've just bought 6 packets of Johnsons seeds for £2 from the works all dated 2012 and that included the parsnips I needed.
