I applied for my seeds on the 12th and didn't get an email either, all I saw was a page that said :-

                      'you have successfully applied'

                            • Well - you all beat me to the punch there... mine arrived today too.

It's a shame the salad leaves are mixed up like that, I'd have liked them to be separate so I could grow them a bit more deliberately. Still - they'll make for a nice salad box regardless.

Did anyone else think the pack they came in was really well done? Clear instructions and well put together.

I did notice a bit of a howler on the Carrots page though.
                              Sow at 1" spacing...
                              Thin to 1" spacing...
That could be a bit confusing to some (even I'm not entirely sure and I'm probably a step above clueless) - is the inclusion of the thinning instruction an error or should they be thinned to a wider spacing?

Oh and as for "guilt" - if you've got a TV licence or pay any tax at all you've already paid for the seeds - don't feel guilty about getting what you already own.

                              • well i'm really smug, I have been sent 2 packs by mistake. I already have enough salad leaf and herbs but the carrots, beans, and courgettes will be apreciated, what I don't use then goes to my local school and play school (even though I already signed them up too)
