quick hint on slugs and snails

i have just found out that slugs and snails don't like the smell of garlic so i planted some last year and it worked.

Well done you, I have terrible problems with snails, a friend of mine has a snailry in an old wash basket, works in the same way as a wormed, I might give that a go this year. Failing that I find a small bucket of salt works great, ya just toss them in it.
