Free plants Daily Mail

Every offer of free bulbs, seeds, trees, whatever I have seen, be it from Parker, GYO, or the daily mail has always charged postage and packaging. Sometimes the cgharges are steep, sometimes very reasonable but always there.

As with anything its a case of "caveat emptor".

I got free cabbage seeds from (I almost daren't say it now!) the Guardian last year for the price of a second class stamp. We had Copenhagen Market summer cabbages in abundance and I've now got another pot of seedlings to dib out for this year. They aren't ALWAYS a con.
