Cleaning Paths & Clearing Moss

It's that time of year again and all the slab paths need cleaned. I have a pressure washer I use once a year but it's a wet, mucky business. How do other grapes clean their paths.
Also, the path edging stones are thick with moss. Last year I scraped it all off and sprayed them with something which said it would retard moss for up to 2 years. Useless ! they're just as bad as ever !
Any good ideas ?

Like you Alice, its a case of move the pots, pressure wash everything and allow to dry. It is messy I agree but the easiest and most effective, especially after a wet winter. As for moss treatments, I have found them to be very much a gimmick.

Someone told me Jayes fluid.....not tried it though

You can get "hoods" now for pressure washers which stop you getting too much spray. Don't know if they will fit all models though. Also, I suspect they will only work really well on flat surfaces such as a patio.

I have used ***** fluid on mossy steps and it works well. Follow the dilution instructions on the can.

Thanks Piglet, it's about what I thought myself , so I might as well look out some rags and get on with it.

Cor I don't do this until end of April! Bit early up here. I can't even see the path at the moment, still covered in snow!
