I bought a couple of them last autumn but wasn't that happy with the seal and one of them shattered when I was steralising it. May have been a dodgy batch but worth bearing in mind.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
The Lakeland ones are excellent but not exactly cheap.

Interesting how difficult getting the jars always was in the UK but here in SW FRance, bottling (with all the kit), jars, wine making, curing and smoking meat, salting stuff is just a way of life.
All the bricos (DIY sheds) and most supermarkets sell a bewildering array of stuff, no need to save jars etc, can just go buy them by the car load if you want them.
And Kilners or vacuum jars are always available year around .........
Now, should I bring a car load back to sell in the UK ....................
Just goes to show how the French think so much more of their food than the Brits! Out of curiosity, how much are they? I've managed to pick up the odd one here and there but they're not cheap. Pigletwillie bought a canner recently so he'd probably be interested too.
I have no idea how many I'll be needing - depends if pressure canners are available too!

I child-proofed my house, but they still manage to get in.
