Soft Fruit packs

This my first posting, even though I have kept an eye on the forum for a while now. Apologies if I make any mistakes along the way. But I wanted to let you know that my local Aldi store here in Leicester, are selling Soft fruit triple packs for £1.99.
What a fruity bunch – four different variety packs, each containing three soft fruits, root-balled into green root bags with moist peat.
Varieties: Raspberry, Blackberry, Tayberry, Gooseberry, Redcurrant, Blackcurrant.

And next week they will be selling fruit trees for £3.99.

Hi and welcome to the vine. What combinations are they sold in or are they groups of three the same? We only just got an Aldi (it opened last week) and I haven't been there yet!

Got mine at lunchtime....they were selling like hot cakes, probably none left now!

Got four packs, three had a taybery,raspberry and blackberry in each and one had a blackberry,gooseberry and redcurrant.!

The raspberries are like tree trunks!

Right, I'm back now - I bought two packs and they seemed to have three combinations
blackberry/tayberry/raspberry
blackcurrant/redcurrant/rasperry
blackcurrant/redcurrant/gooseberry

They're sold such that you can see the plants, so I practically got in the bin where they were all piled up to sort out which ones I wanted!

That's another job for the weekend!

Got mine today also, 2 packs of the tayberry, raspberry and blackberry. Anybody got any tips on how to plant them?

Go for it, excellent value even if not named varieties. My only whinge is that our local stores aren't stocking them.

I brought a pack blackberry/tayberry/raspberry and some of their 29p seeds spring onion, beetroot, carrot, radish and sunflowers very good value

Perth Branch did not have them in today but they did phone to say they will be in in the morning.. Now as schools are off I will need to drag the kids with me. I am sure I can bribe them with something so there are no moans.

Oh and Hi Miss Sunshine, as you can see I am very new to the vine also.

Thank for the warm welcome, it was great to watch and read your responses to my first post. Next thing is to find somewhere to plant all these soft fruits.
