Annoying bits of debris from my trees would build up in my shed guttering and get washed down into the waterbut. My brain wave was to use an old nylon body puff that you use in the shower to stuff into the top of the down pipe. They cost pennies and have a handy bit of string already attached, mine is on its second year now, and you just have to pluck it out every now an then to shake out the debris. Too easy! and the fine mesh catches all the bits that would escape through chicken wire.
