The guinea pigs have now mown the lawn short, and it has finally stopped growing, so they are short of grass. Last year I didn't have a lawn, so I grew "grass" for them indoors, from the seeds that are included in their dry food. I've just started some up in seed trays....well, you can't sow much else in February!

Aww, you big softy I've thought of doing this many times for my house bunny or as pressies for freinds with house bunnies. Nickys nursery do herb seed mixes for rabbits/guinea's and one for tortoises too. Its nice to spoil them

Good idea! Anyone know of similar things for chinchillas?? My little fluffy one would love it!

Great idea, I'm already growing pea greens for them but a good selection of greens (other than the in season brassicas) would be great. We buy the herb rolls but will be drying nettles et al for them later this year.

Our guineas are on excel nuggets so no grains in that feed. I'll check our Nicky's nursery though. Thanks CC.

They love dandelion leaves, so I always leave a few (just a few) in the borders for them and make sure they don't run to seed.
