They are just filling the shelves in our local one, no pots or other stuff but he plants were there as were the spuds.

    4 blueberrys, 2 raspys and 4 bags of spuds = £5.00

Hope they do their fleece and membrane this year

Well done Pipkins, straight from the delivery box to your basket, so no time for the hot store to dry them out.

4 bags of spuds, does that mean like me your trying out all 4 they stock, or did you buy several of the same variety?

I popped in and checked new stock coming in today and also to see if they had any boxes of Rose Feed, but they only had Growmore and BFB. I've got a sack of BFB so no need for more this year, but need to check my stock of Growmore in the loft, which I bought from Wilkinson's at the end of season sales. As I think I might have/nearly finished loads of Woolworth's Growmore, which they were selling off for 50p prior to closing down.

I went in today and asked, was told no, so tried putting seed potatoes through the till. No BOGOF at our Poundland.

I think the offer must have finished already, because today I went in and was going to buy 2 x Growmore and 2 x Liquid Rose Feed. But neither item came up as BOGOF, so I didn't get them.

I've noticed they are selling Philladelphus as bare rooters! I'm getting 3 tomorrow.

Are their bare root plants any good?

I bought a hibiscus bare root last year and it's done very well and the sea holly/red hot pokers I got have also done well. The trick is to get the bare root plants nice and early before they've had a chance to totally dry out or start sprouting in the packets.

Is Poundland alright for plants then? May sound snobby but I'd worry about the quality! I buy lot's of branded stuff from them, cleaning etc. But I'd be worried they'd fail! Have you all had plants from there before?
