EDIT - Doh!
already beat me to it while I was typing !
Sorry Florence, it doesn't start until 3rd March - next Thursday! But looks good!
Except the cold frame is a tenner cheaper than the one I just bought in Aldi's :-(
(could always buy a second one!)Last edited by pinns; 25-02-2011, 08:19 PM.

Ta BM, very timely.
Now if they would just do their insect mesh netting in 10m x 2m sections I could stop buying all their door and window mesh screens !
Anyone know if their cloche tunnels are any good ? At that price I am inclined to suspect not, and I don't want to go to all the bother of spending an entire day in town if they don't have the right thing.
Ideally of course they would have loppers - the ones I bought from them once before have been half-inched, which gives you an idea of how good they are !There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.
Head-hunted member of the Nutter's Club - can I get my cranium back please ?

New Horizon peat-free 50lt offer
New Horizon peat-free 50lt - just gone into my local garden centre to buy some compost and the bags of NH have a '3 for 2 offer' printed on them. I got extra lucky as they quoted me the wrong price on the phone and got 3 bags for a tenner!
So look out for those '3 for 2' bags.

Used Bowers compost a couple of years ago and found it okay for raised beds but not for starting off seeds or transplanting young plants it's not fine enough. Now thanks to BM I've just been looking at the Lidl bargains coming in on Thursday. Has anyone any experience of the self watering planters? They sound very much like a hydroponic kit for salads, only for about an 1/8 of the price.Last edited by FROSTYFRECKLE; 27-02-2011, 11:27 AM.
