Very Cheap heated propagators 22 March 2013

Mission Failed

Made a expedition out today after digging the car out to get to my local Massive Tesco's to find these Propagators.

Unfortunately they don't sell them in the store I went to.

Only the small plastic value ones available. I eventually found the Member of Staff who was responsible for the gardening section who confirmed not all stores will stock them, so as I have tomorrow off work, & weather depending, I may try another smaller Tesco's not far from here.

Never mind.

I recommend ringing your local Tesco Extra number - it will be an 0845 number and give them the item code. If yours doesn't have one, then there may be another only a few miles away that might. They will check the stock against the store code.

Waste of time, I rang to be told yes there are five on the shelf went straight away when I got there guess what, no stock,when I complained I was told that what is on the computer screen is not what is on the shop floor,when I asked what is the point in calling customer service to try to find an item I was informed that the customer service number that you call would put you through to a call centre in India!

None in my local Tesco either, not that I need one but it's always good to get a bargain.

I was told four, got there and had three, but not in the garden bit. Were with the BBQs so maybe you needed to look around.

Aw well, I can confirm none in Wigston, Beaumont Leys or Braunstone Gate.

But it appears Tesco has caught on and perhaps sent them back.

Never mind, its nice to know some peeps got a bargain.
