50p Seeds?

Findern Garden Centre, just outside Derby, are offering all of their seeds packets for 50p. Spent all my pocket money last week on 'em

Just got back with £66.30 worth for a fairly reasonable £13. Not a bad return on investment.

Now a few years ago at the very end they had a 10p / packet sale at the same time as 5)5 0ff all seeds - 5p each then! Not expecting that again this year but have a look around October time just in case....

Knocked off work early today [had done all my hours this week by 1:30 - yay] so went to Findern and bought 60 odd packets; haven't added up the total they would have cost but if we get £30 worth of crops then we've made a profit. Which is always a good way of looking at it.

Glad I didn't wait for the GC announcement of their 50p seed sale - it just dropped in my inbox! All the best ones would be gone by now - but I may have to go check, just in case

I'm sure they will - Carmarthen and Cardiff both do

Wish I had time to nip in and have a rummage - I seriously need new everything seeds!!

Loving the 19 pence seeds from Aldi at the moment. Unfortunately my local garden centre aren't playing.

I got 50p seeds about 3 weeks ago from the local purple garden centre. Better bargains though at the allotment trading shop today where I got 60 onion sets, 250g of Winter Tares and a scoop of Douce Provence peas for £2.21.
