FREE Blue Barrels

If you live in the Long Eaton area of Derbyshire, a local business has the big blue barrels available for free. All you need to do is to collect them. All they have contained is glucose. PM me for their address and telephone number

Thanks Bren, but the small print says " Plastic barrels used previously for water proofer" so if they have had chemicals in them I doubt very much if they suitable for use as water storage.

Problem being I could do with a few but can only carry a couple at a time. Thanks all the same. I will try and scrounge some in my local area.

Sorry to narc an old thread . . . but why not pop down to your local indian take away / restaurant and ask for their empty mango chutney container? Blue barrel that holds 10 gallons. . . food safe and has only contained - fruit!

My local Indian goes through about 4 of them a week, and are more then happy to get rid of them through the side door (I also scavenge their wine bottles for the home brew) . . . .
