Just checked the small print in their catalogue:-

I'm sure all seed sellers have the same small print!

I got the wrong box! they've sent me summer instead of autumn - I thought it was an error but maybe it was an availability thing. I'm going to ring them tomorrow

Oh dear I seem to have started a revolution!

I must admit that these seed surpliers are quite naughty when they state suitable alternatives as I expect to recieve what I pay for, even if it is only the postage!

I actually BOUGHT (with a voucher) the winter collection last year. I've thrown the box away so can't say how accurate it was. My current order has "awaiting stock" by it

so in the spring box... spinach has been changed to true and lollo rossa for red salad bowl. everything else ok

In the summer box lollo rossa has been changed as above, everything else is ok. The boxes are practically identical!

So did mine when I ordered on Monday... I've now had an email confirming dispatch.

Received my replacement autumn box today - parsnip were switched to lisbonnais, celeriac to brilliant, lettuce to red salad bowl and leek to toledo - the boxes were packed in 2015 so I would assume everyone will have the same replacements.

I now have LOTS of duplicates - VC what are the rules for seed tapes in the VSP?

FYI I've emailed Suttons and asked them to explain why the seed tapes in the box are different to those advertised.
I'll let you know what they say!

My 2nd lot of free tapes arrived today

Sowed a few of my tapes last week. My top tip would be to note that the name of the variety is only printed on one end. So if you aren't sowing the whole tape, you'll either have to unravel and start from the unlabelled end or have a pencil handy. Otherwise you may end up with a pocket of mystery tapes. Oh and try not to use them on a windy day!
