They name the storms now, the last one was Abigail and now Barney's on the way, apparently bringing hurricane force winds later this eve!
Although sometimes their predictions don't quite happen so maybe it will just be a regular storm.The best things in life are not things.Comment

The wind is permanently howling here. Are they still giving the storms names or have we whizzed through the entire alphabet already??
There is a seemingly nameless storm forecast for this afternoon, winds up to 100k so presumably the shrieking wind that woke me up this morning isn't the actual storm yet!

In the past few weeks we have had Abigail, Barney, Clodagh and now Desmond.
