The last couple of days have been warm and muggy - perfect midge weather ouch! This morning was cool and very overcast, but this afternoon is hot and sunny.

Another scorching hot day here today.
First thing this morning had to paint more shading on the greenhouse as the temp was above 90 in the early morning.
Everything growing really well but had to water and damp down the greenhouse floor three times today.

The rain finally arrived at 6am this morning. To be honest I'm delighted - the garden and veg beds were really starting to 'feel the heat'. Gets me off watering duty for the morning too! A good beginning is half the work.

A very mixed weather day today. Started out dull and then had a totally wet morning.

Lots of black clouds threathening rain but the high winds must have blown them all away.

Well it had to come to an end ... but it was great while it lasted - 10 days of pleasant weather, even a little sunshine. What a tonic!! But alas it couldn't last. Wet and windy this morning. A little drier this afternoon, but there's no doubt - it's definately Autumn Brrrr! A good beginning is half the work.
