Another pleasant day. Dry, with the occassional glimmer of sunshine but a little chilly this evening.

A lovely bright day, and actually warm at times.

There's definately a change in the air. The weekend was, for the most part dry, warm and bright, but yesterday was mixed with cooler spells, and intermittant threats of rain. This morning its a little clammy, with heavy mist and drizzle on the mountain which is slowing spreading down to sea level. Dull.

Oh those dark mornings are certainly upon us, but thankfully this morning was a vast improvement on yesterday. Following a very warm night, the morning brought a soft warm breeze and and spells of beautiful sunshine. Even when the sun disappeared it remained much brighter than usual and overall it was one of those special days you thank God for. This evening is a little drizzley, but the plants won't complain!

A typical Irish morning:

High winds (slates torn from the shed roof ), cold spells, warm spells, dark clouds and heavy rain, bright blue skies, glorious sunshine, thunder
.... and it's only just gone 11am!!

Well, despite the weather forecast, we ended up with a lovely weekend (just a few light, drizzley showers). Lots of sunshine and warm at times too. Yesterday was even better! Very warm with glorious sunshine.

Today however is quite a different story. Dark, damp and dreary! The forecast says it will improve this afternoon, but I'd be surprised if it does. The rain is very heavy at times and the sky is low and looming.

Quite a damp start to the morning, but the torrential rain and high winds of yesterday are gone. The clouds are clearing and there are glimmers of blue sky. Mild.

Another damp start this morning, but it soon dried up and became a lovely bright fresh day.

Another cold but exceptionally bright night gave way to a cold and frosty morning. (This moon seems to be the brightest I've seen in a long time -right through from new to old). We are now enjoying a glorious, but cool day.

Dry again but a little overcast. Its still warm though!

Well the day started with a beautiful clear sky, the Moon and Jupiter shining brightly. Heavy mist followed but this finally cleared to reveal bright blue skies and lots of sunshine. A lovely, fresh autumn day.

Despite the bad forecast the weekend turned out reasonably OK. There were are few drizzley showers yesterday, but other than that it was fine. Heavy rain followed last night but cleared by 6.30am. This morning was bright and beautiful, but this afternoon is a little overcast, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was more rain tonight.
