We had to leave the beautiful wee cottage we'd rented for the week in West Cork and head to my Step Daughter's place in Carlow. The weather there was really bad, 260,000 without power, the distruction was crazy, driving was scary, dodging countless trees that had fallen on the roads.

Hope our members there are all safe and sound.

A beautiful sunny morning here. Went for a very long walk in the park nearby. all the spring flowers are in bloom.
This afternoon the weather has reverted to wet and windy again..

Wicked weather today. Rained all day with showers of hail and a cold breeze. What a contrast to yesterday which was warm and sunny.

miserable weather today, alot of wind and rain

Yesterday was bitterly cold with driving rain and a gale blowing, but it didn't bother this young man who was loving it! He was all by himself and just kept getting further and further from the shore. I was worried about him, who ever he was I hope he got back to the shore safely, I was too cold to wait and find out!

This evening we have snow, gales, hale, sleet, thunder and lightening and tomorrow we are promised a huge storm. Lovely!

Cold , winter weather at the moment. Showers of hail today

I'm not in Southern Ireland but I can look through my window and see it - about 4 miles away. So over there - its crisp and sunny with about stiff frost last night. almost a half inch of ice this morning.

Came out of the church this morning to find the place white with snow and it wasn't even forecast. Temp zero.

Awoke to a miserable wet morning which continued throughout the day. Dull grey and miserable.

Beautiful sunny weather here for the last few days.
Not necessarily high temps but beautiful just the same.

Raining all last night and its still lashing down today. Stuck indoors apart from going to mass this morning. Its totally miserable.
