Heavy rain and high winds overnight in the northeast. Thought my motherday's (had to buy it myself!!) Aldi cold frame would have taken to the skies, but its still there.
Dark, damp and depressing this morning, but at least the winds have eased a little.

I must be dreaming ... 14 degrees, blue sky, whispy clouds and guess what, a large yellow ball in the sky! It's that long since I've actually seen it, that i can hardly believe my eyes ..THE SUN!!!
Isn't it great to be alive, and heading for the garden!

Been a beautiful day here as well. Did some gardening and then sat in the sun with the sunday papers.
Actually got a little sunburned.
Could'nt quite believe the great day we had. >
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Lovely in Louth again today! Beautiful infact. Yesterday's temp. reached 20 degrees, a little less today because of a stronger breeze, but hey, who's complaining?

OMG where has all that nice weather gone?? 3 degrees outside (no not them) and that's not accounting for the wind chill. Even the greenhouse was cold this morning. Frost alert great Crundy. FrostAlert: Free weather alert Set it at eight degrees to see what would happen, and hey presto great forecast. Thanks.
The only consolation is that its not raining, but with the wind rising I’d say its not too far away. Hope it keeps off ‘til after lunch, gardening club at school again today and we’ve beetroot to plant out and loads more weeding to do.
