    Flaming June.

Last weekend was the hottest so far this year, got up to 85 degrees C.

Weds night the Temp went down to 3 Degrees C.

Yesterday, (sat) we had and inch of Rain, today another inch of rain.

We are having constant light rain interspersed with sudden hard showers.

All this after I had filled up my water Butts in the week with the hose cos i had been watering newly planted flowers and veg like mad.

Forecast for coming week is many showers, some quite hard.!

                1st Nov.

Its very mild out, however we woke up to howling gales and horizontal rain.

Thought the house was in a car wash for a while.

Rain has now ceased, after half and inch fell into rain the measure pot, but we still have very strong gusts.

I have also seen sparrows being blown off the feeders bless em. Going to suggest they rope up to each other or they could end up several counties away by tomorrow.!

Today is sucky with a high chance of suckiness tomorrow and the forthcoming weeks (actually it's dark, miserable, cold and drizzly. Just the right weather for November nowadays).

No sign of the expected snow yet, just drizzle.

No snow or drizzle in the north, only dull and damp.
                      But it is 6C.

Snowed for about an hour, than a slight melt.

Been below Zero for several days, rained a tat last night, then a massive freeze.
Terrible driving conditions and had a good slide in car on way back from ASDA.

Awoke this morning to 3-4 inches of snow! This is the most we have had all winter; sunny Stoke-on-Trent has got off very lightly so far. I was going to empty the big dalek this morning .... don't think so!

Today I have had sleet, hail and rain. It's also windy and I have heard one clap of thunder. I do hope my plants make it.
