Are we done with the frost? After Monday & Tuesday's very cold nights, it was 12°C in my greenhouse last night. Can I plant my runner beans out yet?

Nearly got blown over walking the pooch this morning. We both got soaked and I think even he was glad to get back indoors. Had a sunny spell with no wind about 2 hours ago but it's all come back. Going to risk a second outing before it goes dark...and I want to get a lottery ticket.
Well that was bracing! Cooler than this morning but the rain held off. Clear skies for now. Lots of twigs from trees on the paths and roads...no trees fortunately. Pooch enjoyed himself anyway.
At last some rain, and I've lost the new taps and linking kits for my water butts, but i did get 2 h2Go kits for xmas, just need another wheelbarrow to put them in.
Very harsh dry frost last night from the East (where European temperatures are unusually low even for Balkans, Russia, Poland). Weather forecast has explained that rain now moving in from the West will turn to snow once the two air masses meet..... seems pretty inevitable. Have removed roof netting from fruit cage, a fairly easy precaution that only takes a few minutes, in some contrast to the time and swearing it will take to put it back again.... Doing my best to preserve plants, seedlings etc with bubble wrap, newspaper etc, taking solace in the likelihood that this cold snap should reduce pests come the Spring. February, getting lighter....
