While since I posted on this thread so I just thought I would let you all know, my German Shepherd pup has given a big thumbs up to our first snows of winter!
Bit warmer than it was yesterday thank God!

White out today with a haw frost and the ground like concrete. Pretty though!
Had to break the ice in the chooks drinking water!

Lovely spring sunny morning this morning. Very cold though with the remnants of a frost last night!

Hi, I am new to this site , and the NE, so hello to someone who is shares 'my weather'. I like this metcheck site, but seeing the future can be a bit depressing when there aren't many sunny symbols on the horizon.

This year is going to be a real learning curve for me as I only have windowsills and a small garden at the moment.

Just been out with the dog for a walk and it's bl**dy freezing! If I didn't know better I would say there was SNOW behind that wind.

I've got a bit tattie planting to do today so that shoud keep me warm!

Two days of sunshine in a row and forecast to be sunny tomorrow as well. Just what the doctor ordered!

A mixture of sunshine and showers today. Watered garden in the sunshine then came the showers!

We had sunshine here right up until the time I lit the BBQ, then it rained, solid.
Forecast is a bit grim for the next 24 hours too - thunderstorms, hail, flash floods, wouldnt be surprised if there was a plague of frogs, and indeed they'd be very welcome.

Luverly, but my garden is really heavy clay and I could feel it 'giving' beneath my feet as I mowed my lawn. The borders are stil wet and there is 8" of water in the bottom of my ex-pond. (Waiting to be filled)

This oop north thing is going to take some getting used to.
