The view from my window........
Woke up, this first morning of 2010, to this lovely view from my window!About 8 inches of snow has fallen overnight and the dog couldn't wait to get out into it. (neither could I if the truth be known!)
Going to have a coffee and then set off on my 7 mile trek to sort my chooks out............not really looking forward to the roads!

Hey, Snadger - gosh, with 8" of snow you must live in a really exposed part of N'cle. I've just cleared our scant 3" off the path and I'm not too far away...

My daughter lives in Consett and apparently one of my grandbairns had to be rescued from a snowdrift when he wanted to go out snowballing!
Here's another piccie of the drive before I put tracks in it as I headed for the allotment!
