The OLD Severn Bridge had overt signs saying that it was closed today due to high winds.
      No **** Sherlock.
So I made my way towards the NEW Severn Bridge, and over-shot by a long chalk, ending up near The Rhonda Valley in TOG country - "There's Lovely!"
and felt a Right Royal Tit.
      Never Mind, eh?!
PS. Don't tell Trousers.... He'll Laugh.

Today was a beautiful blue-skied, sunny but 'nip in the air' kinda day, and it put a Spring in my step!

Our first 'real' frost last night. And, yet again, a beautiful crisp sunny day today with a bitter northerly wind. Bbrrrrr! Which reminds me! When Trousers got back from work yesterday, he collected the logs and kindling for the fire, as he does, and no sooner had he tucked his tootsies into his slippers and the hailstones came down out of nowhere! Outside, naturally...

Snow - not enough to build a snowgardener, just a dusting.

                    Brrr.

Oh, and completely Brrr! again today, but I stayed at home with my cat. and so we looked at it all out of the windows. Which was nice!
Minus Three in the 'Little Girls Greenhouse' last night..... Thankfully only autumn-sown Sweet Peas and Jan-sown Bored Beans, and all covered with two layers of fleece overnight.
Again, a lovely sunny day, so I put my electric propagator with the tomato seedlings in, plugged into the little greenhouse 'lectrickery to give them a little more daylight before bedtime in the conservatory tonight.
I like to think that it's the veg equivalent of the TA...!

It was frigging frigging cold today! SUCH a biting coldness that got deep into your bones, but again, a beautiful clear blue sky sunny day.
It's so lovely to be alive on days like this!

You know? Trousers had to put salt on the path this morning.
It wasn't icy. It was black ice. I rest my case.
But it was sunny, and again, I put the TA girls out (!)
It's getting milder again, thanks be.
