                      Rain and.. yes more rain..!

Well the total rainfall in LE2 for Feb was 60.3 mm.
Slightly above what we have had in the past few years.

I have had an inch of rain since 4pm last night where i live, 4pm was when i emptied my rain measure cup thingy.! I have water oozing off the lawn across the patio and at least 2 pools of water on other areas of the lawn.

So much for my planned digging around the greenhouse today, the onion sets will have to wait as well.

I decided to hoover and do loads of washingthis morning instead. How sad. Sunny spells at the mo but not enough to dry the ground out much, might try laying a path inside my new geenhouse later.

The weather in LE12 sure cheered up this afternoon though......it was fab in the sun.
Got loads done and only came in around 5.15pm ish.

Seriously worried about the garden, a lot of my lawn is under water.

Been bucketing it down for 6 hours now, and we had over an inch Friday Night.
Have had to reduce the water level in the pond twice now and there are frogs everywhere, it looks like a mass exodus.

                          Please stop raining.

                            Oh Seasprout,
we are just off the A6 at Barrow and all of the fields our end of the A6 are totally under water.....and its deep.
I have never seen such bad flooding since I have lived here........
I hope it stops soon too.

It's the most beautiful spring-like day here - shame I can't be at the Hill. Have put my titchy brussel sprout seeds outside for a sunbathe!

The river Wye has burst its banks today. ( and Yesterday too) It is very muddy in colour, more than usual. Last night we had terrible wind. It broke my plastic green house and made a mess of my garden. It kept me awake quite a bit too.
Today has been a beautiful spring day, so nice I spent the afternoon planting outside.
