Weather not as good as was promised here today, the fog didnt manage to lift so it stayed damp and cold, only 3C at its warmest, which was a little disheartening after seeing the lovely sun yesterday, but didnt stop us from picking up the glass for the greenhouse and getting it fitted!
Got talking to one of the guys at the glaziers, and got offered a second greenhouse too, as his dad is wanting rid of his small one, so we may be getting a second greenhouse, which will go onto our second plot, the half size one!
Been nice & sunny but absolutely freezing for a couple of days now but the weather forecast seems to be saying it might go foggy again tomorrow so make the best of it.
Lovely sunny day today with a froat this morning, but due to rain overnight. Batten down the hatches tomorrow as it's supposed to be very windy & rainy again on Sunday.
My 'froat's' nearly as bad as my typing Nicos! Funnily enough I have got a bit of a sore throat & sneezes at the mo it must be because this weather keeps changing & I never know what to wear & either go out wrapped up & end up boiling & having to strip off(!) or go out wishing I'd put gloves, hat & a scarf on while I freeze to death!
Fantastic day isn't it???
Going out to stroke my olive tree in a mo!! ...and get a few more seedlings on the go.
Great bit of news is some of my Tepin chiiles have germinated ( refused point blank last year)...more space now in the propagator...
Full sun in my garden ( lottie still too wet) so I'll try and get a blush of sun on my cheeks Mrs D!!!

Was lovely yesterday morning wasnt it Nicos, I even put my shorts on for a bit, but then the cloud came in and it got a lot colder! Today looks fab, brilliant sunshine again, but I'm working, not fair! Tomorrows forecast is showers, and I'm off for most of the day, and the weekend when we are both off looks like being wet, windy and cold, just typical isnt it! Only get every other weekend off, so may have to brave the rain and get something done regardless!
Lovely day here today but O.H. is in the Lakes (for work, or so he says!) & he says it's cold & overcast there.Been in the garden all morning putting in last of spring bedding I got free from Fryers & cheap from B&Q. & potting things on.Does look like it might not be so nice this weekend tho. Mrs D., never mind just put your wellies on with your bikini!
Just checked the weekend weather here as I'm doing a car boot sale on Sunday, looks like it's going to be fairly reasonable all weekend for the North West. (Skipton weather is usually most accurate on NW rather than 'Yorks & Humber') Cloud and drizzle possible by Monday though. Hopefully you'll be able to crack on Mrs D, don't forget the sun cream tho!
Xx

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be busy down the plot, at least until I get a call from Mr D to pick him up from the hospital, no lifting or bending for him for the next month or so, so guess who's got to do all the plot work for the time being! lol!
Not got your spuds in yet Nicos? Ours went in 2 weeks ago!
Could really do with some rain tho.... (Soz folks, don't mean to jinx your wknd) Installed new water butts 2 weeks ago at new lottie, and only have about an inch in bottom! Had to 'borrow' water to water in me onion sets & potatoes the other day... After the car boot sale on Sunday I'm going to be doing a rain dance!
