Heavy frost each morning still

Been lovely for us today. Started with a frost but warmed up enough to be gardening in tee shirt and sandals.

We've had the same my GH temp went from 0.1c to 30.4c

Only very light frosts here now so took the plunge and got my spuds in, which is a relief as they have been on the dining room table chitting for a few weeks.
Managed to get a couple of builders bags of "soil improver" for £50, just had to drive to Swindon to collect them. Each bag contained 650 litres and I've used all of one bag and about 3/4 of the second one. £25 a bag seemed like a bit of a bargain, just have to wait and see if they grow OK.
I have added potato fertilizer to each bag so hopefully it will prove to be a good medium to grow in and once used I can spread it in the flower beds as I wont be using it for spuds a second time.

Lighter frost this morning and the chill wind has dropped at bit.

Corking day today. Started with light frost and then quite a heavy cold, damp mist but once it lifted the skies cleared and it's currently 17°C with little breeze.

Still and dull. Looks like the frosts have gone....for now.
Yesterday turned out beautiful for a couple of hours.( UV6 too!) Time to hunt out my sun hat!

Last night it was a tropical 9.1c over night in my GH not much warmer now though.

By lunch time the sun came out so I didn't need my coat today.

We keep getting 14 hours of hours of uninterrupted sunshine but only 10°C with a "feels like" of 3°C in 15kt NE wind. Wind keeps the frost off though

Sunshine for yesterday but could be any day of week last. Notches are obstructions, not clouds.
