Shark fins

I found sharks in some containers that were left laying about on the plot.
Well at least the fins were there for me to see.
I think the biting things were warning me that the frost likely to bite me.

Amazing, Plot70. Thanks. A fascinating phenomenon. Thanks for the link, Nicos. Mr Snoop suggested it could be the effect of wind. Little does he know... I shall astound him with my new-found knowledge (if I'm able to understand it).

You have to have just the right rate of cooling for the outside to freeze first so that the liquid water inside carries on freezing until it bursts like a pipe into air that freezes it as it comes out.
You don't get the right rate of cooling very often.
