First signs of Autumn?

What have you started to notice?

Last night I heard a mouse in part of our roof space munching its way through a hazel nut. The first of this autumn/ winter.Sometimes it sounds like there’s a party going on up there!
I looked at the hazel tree and was surprised how much the leaves have suddenly started to change colour.

What are you noticing?

Hi Nicos,

We've been commenting on the tree leaves here for quite a while - they don't seem to have recovered from the dry spell. OH took a pic when he was walking locally on 17 August & it certainly doesn't look like summer!
