  • Spare a thought for the East Coasties!!

Spare a thought for us on the East coast.............low cloud/drizzle/fog......all day today.........7 degrees of warmth.
We had a lovely day yesterday, I planted some seeds.....now I'm getting out my winter gloves again.
    It can only get warmer.................

Hope so Emmy. I'm halfway through re-landsaping my front garden and 2 new raised beds. Brrrrr.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Sorry to hear you've had lousy weather today. It has been lovely here but if it's any consolation, I think its suppose to drizzle here on Saturday. Mind you could do with a bit of rain cos my water butt is nearly empty and the ground is getting pretty dry.

Well it's not the whole east coast Emmylou. It was just gorgeous here today - like a day in summer.

We're in for our 2nd day of thick chilly fog, I'm afraid. The fog horn woke us up 5am again.

It does this every spring: one warm sunny day, then a week of fog.

FOG HORNS!!!! I loved laying in a bed at Mums listening to them out in the Thames Estuary or hearing them when walking home from village school- blissful childhood memories! I would soooo love to hear one again! Not much chance here in Oxon though, still we do get deer and buzzards, red kites to and sooo many wild flowers. My part of Essex was nice though- all marshes and salty water......ahhhhhh sighs HF time to pay a visit to dear Mummy and see my beloved creek just 12 houses or so down the road!!!

Well, I try and feel sympathetic, but then I remember that statistically, the East is quite a bit drier than the West, and how often the weather forecast show sunny/sunny intervals over you guys, and drizzle/rain/torrential downpours over us... and oddly, my sympathy seems to evaporate The only bonus we get is when everyone is crying drought, we'll still have some water

Well, we're miles from any coast and it's a dull day here too.

I've got spreadsheets and concreting to do. Wonder which will actually get done today???

We too have our familiar overcast sky and persistent drizzle this morning.

Yesterday was lovely and it made such a difference - today is back to usual, as you were.

Dull and misty here this morning, although 'Metcheck' says bright sunshine. Nutters!
