It's a great pic, great cloud. Nothing mad about that. And Flummery I'm very jealous - I've been looking out for nacreous clouds every since I found out what they were!

Not a brill piccie i know, but it was the time it was taken rather than anything else.
It was taken at about 4.30 am (sunrise) on the morning of the summer solstice (June 21st) close to where I live.
Pretty boring i know, but I've just downloaded some piccies from my camera and it was on it!

Snadger that's a gorgeous cloud picture!! It made me come over all tingly

I love watching clouds and a couple of years ago in Scotland I actually saw some noctilucent clouds (dark night, shiny clouds)
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

It went over the house - I have a series of 4 pictures - one evening last July - 13th to be exact! We were having a meal outdoors with some friends and it was their daughter who noticed it. I rushed inside for the camera. It really seemed to have an internal rainbow!

Some lovely cloud pics I love clouds! I have one somewhere with a 'two tone' cloud - looks really black and heavy on one side and light and fluffy on the other but can't find it - must be on the other pooter.
This is one of my faves though - all zig-zags with the setting sun lighting them up

But Flum yours is your very own photo - much more exciting.

I found the website when after seeing an odd patch of 'rainbow' in an otherwise clear blue afternoon sky - I'm still not sure what it was. I'm always on the lookout for odd sky happenings and interesting clouds - crowning moment though was going to Norway to see the aurora borealis - absolutely amazing.

We also like to check the NASA website and then sit outside at night and wait for the International Space Station or the Shuttle to go over - tiny dots of light moving across the sky, but somehow exciting to know what they are!!
