Broadcast figures for barometric pressure have an inherrent delay and are likely to bear a degree of inaccuracy. For an absolute measure do a search on the internet for your local meteorological recording station. These are dotted all over the country and many publish real-time data for air pressure, temperatures, wind speed and rainfall.
